Heads Up- Playing against one other opponent.
Help Card- A card that improves a player's hand.
High Card- Lowest possible winning hand. If no hand contains a pair, the hand that has the highest value card wins.
High Hand- The best hand in any round of poker.
High-Low- Games where half the pot goes to the highest ranking poker hand and half goes to the lowest ranking poker hand.
Hit- A deal contained cards that help your hand. If you have AK, and the flop comes K-7-2, it hit you.
Hold'em- Also known as Texas Hold 'em, where the players get two down cards and five community cards.
Hole Cards- Cards dealt face down in front of the players.
House- The casino or cardroom that is hosting the poker game.
House Rules- Game rules, established by the house, which may differ from the standard/official way games are played.
