Value Bet- To make a bet to increase the money in the pot, but not to make players fold.
Variance- A measure of the up and down swings your bankroll goes through. Variance is not necessarily a measure of how well you play. However, the higher your variance, the wider swings you'll see in your bankroll.
Village People- Four Queens.
VPIP- Voluntary Put $ in Pot. Percentage of times a player willingly plays a hand. This doesn't count being in a blind or antes, unless you bet, raise, or call a raise.
